Class 9 Hindi introduces you to a whole new and interesting phase of this subject. The words become fancier in order to help you with increasing your vocabulary. All the newly added writing skills make students curious to learn them and in turn, it makes them score more marks in their exam.

Class 9 Hindi is a language subject that not only sets the base for your class 10 Hindi but also elevates your percentage to a considerable extent. You can make your preparation fruitful by making a study plan for you. So, in order to help you out with making your study timetable, here are some tips for making a timetable for preparation for the class 9 Hindi exam.

What Should Be The Timetable for preparation for the Class 9 HINDI EXAM

Write your syllabus

Your timetable should follow the pattern of your exam being Section A as your unseen passages, Section B contributing as your writing section part, Section C being the grammatical part, and Section D being the literature portion.

Write down all your Syllabus of all the sections on a sheet of paper or on the first page of your registration. If you have the weightage and blueprint of your exam, write down that too. Make sure to double-check your syllabus so as to prevent the chances of missing out or completing any extra topic.

The latter one will be a waste of time for you, so be very careful while writing and cross-checking your syllabus. You can also cross-check with your teacher or two to three friends in order to be 100% sure about your syllabus. If you have written your Hindi syllabus on a sheet of paper, you have to stick it on or in front of your study table so that you don’t get it misplaced by any chance, and also it will keep you determined to keep you focused on your studies.

Give importance to every section

Don’t just prioritize Section B or Section D in order to set a timetable. Every section of your Hindi examination requires almost equal attention from you.

From Section A, you will see unseen passages and poems and you will have to solve questions based upon them. So, the main question is exactly how students are going to prepare for this section. You have to take your reference books and there will be sample papers in that book. You have to practice all the unseen passages thoroughly in order to understand the pattern by which the questions will come from the passages.

The question will ask you to first read the passage and then the questions given according to it and afterward, answer them. But, your approach has to be slightly different from what is said. You have to first read the questions given according to the passage and then the main passage. This will help you to find the keyword given in the questions more easily in the passage.

From Section B, you will observe article writing, letter writing, and conversation writing. This section is the most unpredictable section of the whole exam. So, you have to just understand the way of writing them. There are many sample writing skills given in the reference books, you have to go through them. Don’t read each and every line just focus on the format and how to do the introduction. Also, pay attention to the contents of how they have divided the article into three paragraphs, the first being the introduction, the second being the main content part based on the topic given, and the third but the most important part is the conclusion of the whole article and your views about it.

In your letter-writing skills, the examiner will first focus on the format of the letter. Make sure that the address has been written at the correct margin defined by your teacher. Don’t idolize sample reference books for understanding the format as sometimes the version of your book will not be revised and this will make you lose unnecessary marks.

In conversation writing skills, you have to avoid writing in informal language. There is nothing like the format in this part of writing skill. You have to just primary focus on the topic given and how people can logically talk about them. Don’t use short forms and pay extra attention to the spelling of every word.

From Section C, you will see the grammar portion. For preparing grammar, you don’t have to rely on reference books, you can simply just take your prescribed grammar book and understand all the concepts of them. This portion is quite easy for students to attempt if they know the basic essence of a particular grammatical topic.

From Section D of your exam, you will observe the literature part. This part is based on your textbook’s chapters and poems and is also quite predictable. You don’t have to go for formats in this part.

Just give a thorough reading of your Class 9 Hindi NCERT Books and do all the questions given in it. Read carefully between the lines and understand the meaning of every difficult word. There should not be any spelling mistakes while writing your answer. Preparing for this part will be quite lengthy but very easy. You have to give the most time to literature apart from your study timetable as this part is the most scoring one.

Take breaks

Studying for your Hindi exam is very easy if you put the required time into preparation. Along with studying, you have to keep in mind to take breaks. After every 45 minutes of studying, take 15 minutes break in order to relax. In the meantime, you can listen to music or have some healthy snacks.

Don’t stress out yourself because it is very simple to prepare for this exam and even if less time is left, you will get it done easily. Just remember to not take this subject lightly and follow your study timetable as efficiently as possible. You will end up having an excellent percentage due to this subject.
